É um festival de curta-metragens universitários premiados, e logo depois haverá degustação de graça de cachaça de excelente qualidade, e depois dois ótimos DJs que vão colocar todo mundo pra dançar. AMANHÃ (quinta, 17/09) às 21h30, nós faremos um encontro no Empório (Rua Maria Quitéria, 37 - perto da Praça Nossa Senhora da Paz), em Ipanema. Lá sempre toca música de ótima qualidade, e foi o bar onde mais nos encontramos no semestre passado, todos os estudantes gostam muito de lá, então não deixem de ir!! Estaremos com convites da festa para quem quiser, e temos muitas novidades da próxima viagem pra Paraty pra contar pra vocês!!!

For TODAY (wednesday, 16/09) at 21h Jasmine gave a great suggestion, to go to Cachaça Cinema Clube, at the Odeon Cinema, at Cinelândia. It's a festival of short movies from university students that were awarded in other festivals, and then there will be cachaça to taste for free, and then 2 great DJs making a big party. The best of all is the place(the oldest and most beautiful cinema in Rio) and the price (only R$6 for students!!). We'll be there, hope you all can come! TOMORROW (thursday, 17/09) at 21h30, we'll meet at Empório (Rua Maria Quitéria, 37 - perto da Praça Nossa Senhora da Paz), in Ipanema. They always play great music there, and it was the place that we had more meeting with the students last semester, everybody loves that place, so come!! We'll also have ticket's of the Erasmus Party and many news to tell you about the next trip to Paraty!!

Encontro HOJE na Lapa! / Meeting TONIGHT at Lapa!
Olá galera!! Todos bem? Que tal nos encontrarmos hoje à noite para jogar uma sinuca na Lapa, e depois irmos para uma festa muito legal no Cine Lapa(mesmo lugar onde será a festa de vocês no dia 24!!)??? Estaremos lá também para falar com vocês da festa, estaremos com convites para quem já tiver convidado seus amigos, e vamos precisar da ajuda de vocês com outras coisas, então quem quiser fazer parte dessa missão super divertida apareça! Ah, também teremos informações quentinhas sobre a próxima viagem para contar! E também estamos com saudade de vocês, então não deixem de ir no encontro de hoje! :-)

Às 21h estaremos na Sinuca da Lapa (Rua Riachuelo, 44)...é um ótimo lugar para se divertir jogando sinuca e tomando uma cervejinha.
Às 23h vamos para o Cine Lapa (Av Mem de Sá, 23), para a festa Russo Malandronista Sound Sista. O nome é esquisito, mas quem está organizando é o ucraniano Eugene Hütz, vocalista do Gogol Bordello, uma banda muito doida de gypsy-punk(algo no mínimo diferente), e ele também vai tocar na festa, então a diversão é garantida!
Para colocar o nome na lista dessa festa e pagar R$20 até a meia noite, pra quem tem Orkut, entre nessa comunidade e coloque o nome: http://www.orkut.com.br/Main#Community?cmm=48289740

Primeira viagem do semestre para Corrêas!
É com enorme prazer que anunciamos a nossa primeira viagem do semestre com o grupo todo dos intercambistas da UFRJ!!
A viagem vai acontecer do dia 28 ao dia 30 desse mês (agosto), ou seja, de sexta a domingo, e será para Corrêas, num esquema SENSACIONAL, pois vai ser uma viagem muuuito barata pelo que vai oferecer, e vamos ter uma pousada incrível somente para nós, no meio do Parque Nacional da Serra dos Órgãos, um dos lugares mais bonitos do Brasil.
O que está sendo oferecido pra vocês é o seguinte: Ônibus de ida e volta; Transporte dentro da área de preservação; Hospedagem de sexta a domingo, numa pousada incrível; TODAS as refeições, de sexta a domingo; Muita natureza, cachoeiras e rios; Aulas de Yoga pela manhã; Várias opções de passeios e esportes(alguns são à parte).
Isso tudo pelo preço de R$180, caso sejamos pelo menos 40 pessoas. Pode parecer caro a princípio, mas acreditem, é muito barato, gastaríamos muito mais pra ir pra qualquer outro lugar, tendo que pagar deslocamento e refeições. Se vocês quiserem, não precisam gastar mais nem um centavo, e garanto que terão alguns dos seus dias mais inesquecíveis aqui no Brasil. Perguntem para quem foi na última viagem!!
- O ônibus sairá na sexta-feira, dia 28, às 8h30 do MAM (Museu de Arte Moderna), na Glória, e voltará na tarde de domingo;
- O ônibus pode lotar(como já aconteceu), então a prioridade é de quem confirmar primeiro;
- Vocês podem chamar seus amigos, mas caso o ônibus fique cheio, a prioridade será dos estudantes intercambistas da UFRJ e dos mentores;
- Apenas confirme caso você tenha certeza da sua ida. Ao cancelar (principalmente em cima da hora), você pode estar impedindo que outra pessoa participe da viagem, e nos coloca numa posição desconfortável com o dono da pousada.
- A sua confirmação apenas estará efetivada quando respondermos o seu email dizendo OK, CONFIRMADO, então se passarem alguns dias e não respondermos é porque nao recebemos o email, então mande novamente.

What will be offered: Bus to go and come back; Bus inside the preservation area; A great place to sleep; ALL the meals; A lot of nature, waterfalls and rivers; Yoga class every morning; Many activities and sports(to be paid separately).
It will all cost only R$180, if we are a group of at least 40 people. It can seem a bit expensive, but believe us, it's really cheap, 'cause we don't have to spend any extra money if we don't want to, it would cost much more to go to any other place and have to pay for the meals and transportation.
Some important information:
- The bus will leave on friday, 28th, at 8h30 from MAM (Museu de Arte Moderna), at Glória, and will bring us back on sunday afternoon;
- The bus can get full(as it has already happened before), so who confirms first have the preference;
- You can invite your friends, but in case the bus get full, the priority will be for exchange students from UFRJ;
- Just confirm if u are completely sure that u will go.
- You will only be confirmed when u receive an email from me saying OK, CONFIRMED, so if some days pass and u don't get a message from me, that's because I didn't receive it, so write me again.

Solenidade de Boas-Vindas aos Alunos de Intercâmbio
É com prazer que informamos que a Solenidade de Boas-Vindas oferecida pelo SCRI (Setor de Convênios e Relacões Internacionais da UFRJ) para os estudantes intercambistas estrangeiros ocorrerá na próxima quarta-feira, dia 19 de Agosto, às 9:00 horas, na sala de reuniões dos conselhos do Gabinete do Reitor, no 2º andar do Prédio da Reitoria, no Campus da Ilha do Fundão. Após a cerimônia de boas-vindas haverá um lanche, e depois estaremos o dia todo juntos conhecendo todos os campi da UFRJ e alguns pontos turísticos do Rio de Janeiro.
É muito importante que TODOS estejam presentes nesse evento, para conhecer melhor a Universidade e os outros estudantes. Lá também falaremos um pouco sobre toda a programação do semestre, dos passeios, festas e a viagem para a Serra dos Órgãos que acontecerá em breve, além das próximas. Não deixe de ir!

After the ceremony there will be a breakfast, and then we will visit all the campus of UFRJ and some touristic places in Rio.
It's very important that EVERYONE is present on this event, so you can get to know more about the University and meet all the other students. There we will also talk about all the plans for the semester, like parties and trips (we will have the first trip to Serra dos Órgãos very soon). Don't miss it, your presence is very important!
